
Elementary students had a great time at Raven Hill today. Thanks to all the chaperones and to Mr. Nagel for organizing the trip.

ECS Update: This coming Friday, September 7 is school picture day. Elementary order forms will/have been sent home with students. Middle/high school forms will be distributed today during seminar.


Lots of fun had by middle and high school students yesterday, including hand painting, selfies, and class pictures. Looking forward to making 2018/19 the best year yet.


Elementary students had a great First Day of School yesterday. Welcome back Lancers!


Thursday Cybertronic Lancers along with teams from Petoskey and Boyne City met with Patti Poppe, President and CEO of CMS and Consumers Energy at NCMC. She is a big supporter of FIRST Robotics and wanted to talk with area teams. She had inspirational advice for our students.


Our summer parking lot projects at both the elementary and middle/high school are wrapping up this week.


The new fence at the elementary ball field was completed this week. Along with the new concession building constructed by the building trades class the field is looking great.


4th/5th Science Fair projects.


Yesterday Mrs. Terryberry’s “I Smell a Red Herring” Lancer Leap class visited the Know Way Out escape room in Petoskey.

The ECS Middle and High School bands had a great time at Michigan Adventures today. Thanks to Mrs. Ford for organizing the trip and to all who chaperoned.


Students in Mr. Z’s Lancer Leap LEGO art class are hard at work constructing LEGO Ellsworth. Come see the finished product at the Lancer Leap Showcase on Thursday, June 7 at 5:00.


Yesterday 4th/5th grade students traveled to St. Ignance for a fun-filled field trip.


Mrs. Speicher’s Yoga Journal class participated in rock balancing, an activity that causes students to concentrate, while remaining focused and calm.


Congratulations to the ECS Class of 2018. You did it! Wonderful graduation ceremony last night.


ECS would like to say a special thank you to Charlevoix State Bank and A Matter of Taste for hosting today’s senior luncheon.


The student built canoes are getting closer to completion each day. The two boats will by up for auction at the Lancer Leap showcase on June 7.


Students in Mr. Cary and Mr. Certa’s Lancer Leap building trades class have been completing projects at the baseball field dugouts.
