Mr. Faivor's Lancer Leap Forest Ecology class visited a sawmill to learn how trees are converted into useable lumber.

Mr. Faivor's Lancer Leap Forest Ecology class has been spending time at the school forest working with the Antrim County Conservation department learning about forest management.

Yesterday in Ms. Miller’s Lancer Leap class students went on a “rock hunt” and brought their findings back to the classroom to investigate.


Kindergarten and first grade made fluffy slime yesterday in Mrs. Griffin's Lancer Leap class. They received some expert tips from a fifth grade friend.


Mrs. Gee’s Lancer Leap class is constructing a “musical garden” to be installed at the elementary playground from “found” household items.


2nd and 3rd grade students toured the Kilwin’s Chocolate Factory earlier this week.


Ms. Hybl wrapped up the first rotation of Farm to Table Lancer Leap by making ice cream with students.

Today in Mrs. Kiteley's "Project Smile" Lancer Leap class students used thread painting to write notes to make people smile.

Students in Mrs. VanderHart's "Destinations Unknown" Lancer Leap class made sushi as a part of their study of Japanese culture.

Today in Mrs. VanderHart's Showtime Lancer Leap class students worked on painting sets for their performance.

Today Mr. Nagel's Lancer Leap class "Fishing with Mr. Montgomery" had a great day on the water.

Today the ECS junior class is touring the Ferris State University campus. Thanks to Mrs. Pletcher for taking the atudents.


Day 3 of canoe construction and our sheets of plywood are starting to look like boats.

In Ms. Hybl’s Farm to Table Lancer Leap, class students created pictures using fruits and vegetables. After creating their masterpieces they got to enjoy them. What would we do if we didn’t have plants?
