The NHS SOUPer Bowl of Caring was a huge success again this year! This week, grades 6-12 collected 1713 non-perishable food items for the Good Samaritan food pantry. Thank you to all of you who helped this service project be a huge success!

The Ellsworth Community School Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th in the Superintendent's Office at 9467 Park Street, Ellsworth, MI 49729.

With the delivery of new salad bars our cafeteria renovations are complete. The expanded space features new tables and chairs as well as a fun and vibrant color scheme.


This coming Wednesday, January 31 Ellsworth Community School will be hosting the FFA Leadership Skills contest at the high school from 3:00-7:00 p.m.

On Saturday the ECS Cybertronic Lancers robotics team held a work session to practice driving their 2018 robot. Thanks to all the mentors/advisors who give up their time to work with the students.

Elementary students reached their “Caught Being Good” goal and were rewarded with a movie in the high school gym Friday afternoon.


Middle School students had a great time at Saturday’s Student Council Lock-In. A big thank you to Mrs. Goslee, Mr. Murray, Mr. Faivor, and Mrs. Swenson for chaperoning.


ECS Sports Update: Parents tomorrow (Saturday, January 27) elementary basketball will be playing in Alba, NOT Vanderbilt as previously scheduled. Games begin at 9:00, players should arrive by 8:30.
