The junior and seniors turned their economics class into a Fish Market for one day this week as they learned about supply, demand and price equilibrium.


Mr. Bennett from Farm Bureau Insurance was here to award certificates for the top three essays in the America and Me essay competition. Annabell Bartman was third, Meghan Harmon was second, and Kelan Pletcher was first. Kelan’s essay now moves on to state competition.


The Big and Little Buddies spent the afternoon bowling and eating pizza together. Thanks to Ruben OviedoDelgado for organizing the peer mentor program this year.

Thanks to Mr. Nagel, the many volunteers, and all the students who participated in last week’s Jump Rope for Heart. All told, ECS Elementary students raised almost $3000.


Last week the ECS Quiz Bowl team competed in their final match of the year in Petoskey. Thanks to seniors Alexis Groenink, Josh Light, Sam Montgomery, and Ana Oviedo.


The NHS students delivered close to 1,900 items to the Good Sam food pantry yesterday. We want to thank everyone who donated making this so successful for our community.
